The University of Mississippi NICU and Newborn Center has numerous programs to assist in the care of our critically ill newborns and their families. These programs are led by expert professionals trained in neonatal care. These programs help transport babies into the NICU, help to diagnose problems prenatally and follow up with our patients after discharge. We are also actively involved in training all professionals in staff using the latest technology and simulation. We also reach out to the entire state of Mississippi to bring the latest information and skills to all those who care for babies.
